How do payments work?

Work starts with a 25% deposit and you pay the rest when the project is delivered. Larger projects are paid in three parts: 25% deposit, 35% at an agreed milestone and 40% after delivery.

What if I cancel the project?

The deposit is not refundable once work has started. If you cancel during the project, you pay for the work done up to that point, and we hand it over to you.

What kind of support do you provide after project completion?

For 6 months after delivery, hosting, maintenance, bug fixes and small changes such as text, images and prices are free. After the first 6 months, you can continue with a monthly or yearly plan. Support is available 24/7 for every client, by phone, WhatsApp or email.

What will I pay for after delivery?

Nothing for the first 6 months: hosting, maintenance and small changes are included. After the first 6 months, you can continue with a monthly or yearly plan. Your domain is renewed at the exact price the domain provider charges. NovaTech adds no fees on domains. New features or bigger changes you ask for later are priced and agreed with you before we start.

Who owns the source code?

Once your project is fully paid, you own the code written for it. You can use it, change it and host it anywhere, including with another developer. Some parts are NovaTech's own building blocks that we reuse across projects. You get a free, permanent licence to use and change them inside your project. They remain NovaTech's, and the licence does not allow reselling them or using them to build products for others.

Who manages the hosting and domain?

By default, your project runs on NovaTech's hosting, storage and databases, so you don't have to deal with servers or renewals. If you prefer your own accounts, that works too. We register your domain in your name as its legal owner, then buy and renew it for you. Whenever you ask, we move it to your own account without any NovaTech fee. If you keep it in your own account, renewing it on time is your responsibility, so your website does not go offline. If you decide to move to another provider, we keep your project running for up to 7 days while you move it, and we hand over your data and code. After that, anything running on NovaTech's accounts stops.
